Security is one of the most important concerns within our suburb. The BCA have a dedicated security sub-committee who are in constant communication with SAPS and the security companies in our area.

However the BCA urge all residents to take responsibility for their own streets. The motto 'If you look twice, call it in' is important to remember!

If you happen to see something that you think might is suspicious, PLEASE call your security company and they can go and investigate.

Use your streets' WHATSAPP group to relay important security information. As a suburb we have seen this working amazingly - even aiding the actual capture of criminals.

The BCA supports a good working relationship with all of the security companies, the two biggest being Beagle Watch (CSS) and Fidelity (ADT).

Domestic Watch

The BCA supports our local Domestic Watch programme.

New to Blairgowrie, this programme takes place once a month on a Friday morning at 10am at Christ Church on Gordon Road. It aims at empowering domestic workers, giving safety and security tips and allowing a safe environment in which domestic workers can discuss safety issues.
